Angular Contact Ball Bearing

Angular contact ball bearings can accommodate axial loads in one direction only. Their bearing rings are relatively offset as such to have an upper and a lower shoulder and are non-separable with single raceway grooves in the inner and outer rings. Angular Contact Ball Bearings are known for their performance and high accuracy. This type of bearings can carry a high axial and radial load. Angular Contact ball bearings have raceways in the inner and outer rings that are displaced with respect to each other with the angle of contact ranges from 15° to 45° in the direction of the bearing axis. They are particularly suitable for bearing arrangements where rigid axial guidance is required

Self-aligning ball bearings
Self-aligning ball bearings have two rows of balls, a common sphered raceway in the outer ring and two deep uninterrupted raceway grooves in the inner ring. They are available open or sealed

Miniature Bearings Small Bearings

Miniature ball bearings are deep groove ball bearings in small. Their dimensions make them suitable for special applications.Main dimensions according to DIN 625-1. Inside diameter below 10 mm.

People sometimes refer to miniature bearings as instrument bearings or micro bearings. Their compact size and exceptional performance characteristics make them essential components in many industries. They are used in applications as varied as gyros, anemometers, flow meters, miniature gearboxes, small motors and radio controlled models.

Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Cylindrical Roller Bearings comprises of cylindrical shaped rollers as the rolling elements along with inner ring, outer ring and cage. The rollers have a greater (linear) contact area with the outer ring and are capable to distribute loads across a broader surface. Cylindrical Roller Bearings have a high radial load capacity and are fit for high speeds. These bearings are built with a single row, two rows, or multi rows of rolling elements to meet an application’s radial load requirement.

Spherical Roller Bearings

Spherical roller bearings have asymmetrically sphered or barrel shaped rollers. These bearings have two inner ring raceways and a common spherical raceway on the outer ring. Typically these bearings support a rotating shaft in the bore of the inner ring that may be misaligned in respect to the outer ring. The misalignment is possible due to the spherical internal shape of the outer ring and spherical rollers. These bearings are suitable for applications where the shaft relative to the housing bore is prone to angular misalignment.

Tapered Roller Bearing

Tapered roller bearings feature a cup and cone assembly, where the cup serves as the outer ring and the cone comprises the inner ring, rollers, and cage, all of which have matching tapered raceways. These bearings are specifically designed to support both axial and radial loads. The axial load capacity of tapered roller bearings improves with a larger taper angle; a higher taper angle results in a greater contact angle, thereby enhancing the bearing’s ability to handle axial loads.

Thrust Ball Bearings Thrust ball bearings consist of balls supported within a ring and are suited for low-thrust applications where there is minimal axial load. They are designed to handle axial or thrust loads in either a single direction or both directions. These bearings feature two hardened and ground thrust plates with matching ball grooves on one side, and a single-piece brass cage that holds the precision balls. In certain low-speed applications, a full complement of balls is used without the cage to enhance thrust capacity. However, thrust ball bearings are not ideal for high-speed applications.

Pillow Block Bearings And bearing Units

The primary advantage of cast iron bearing units is their capacity to support heavy loads while minimizing vibrations. These bearing units can be equipped with a special lubricator for periodic re-greasing. However, the presence of the lubricator hole may compromise the structural integrity of the bearing unit. Under typical operating conditions, the grease provided is usually sufficient to last for the entire lifespan of the bearing unit.

Examples of applications used:

Agricultural Applications      Construction machinery      Food and beverage processing        packaging Conveyor systems Material handling systems    Packaging systems  Textile equipment    Air Handling

Universal joint bearings

Universal Joint
Universal joint: A bearing connection device that can transmit the rotation of one shaft to another shaft that is not collinear with it, also known as a universal coupling.

Universal joint bearings are made with cold-forged or machined cup needle roller bearings, featuring a closed end, and are suitable for various applications. They are mainly used in the automotive industry for commercial vehicle propeller shaft joints and are also applied in special cases in other industries.

Adapter sleeve assemblies

Adapter and withdrawal sleeves

Adapter and withdrawal sleeves are used to locate bearings with a tapered bore on plain or stepped shafts. They facilitate bearing mounting and dismounting and, in many cases, simplify bearing arrangement design. This series of metric adapter assemblies accommodate standard small-bore bearings. They are the most commonly used method for locating tapered bore balls or roller bearings onto a cylindrical shaft. This series of adapters are used with 12 and 13 series self-aligning ball bearings, and 213 and 222 series spherical roller bearings.
